Rose has been taking part in carnivals for over 30 years.  

Firstly with the Waldens supermarket shop entry, which was a build the night before type of trade entry.  Then employment came at Airsprung, which she then joined the carnival club, enjoying the Wessex Grand Prix Carnival Association.

When Airsprung finished, formed Scavengers CC with family members, after that then helped Chameleon CC for a while.

Rose entered the Somerset Guy Fawkes Carnivals in the newly formed pairs section with Steve Culverwell, and called themselves Stereo, they went on to be the first ever pairs champions. After this then entered as a single masquerader known as Mono.

Now Rose is currently one of the main costume makers for Ramblers Carnival Club.
